Please read these Terms before using Family Fishing to browse, request, or book fishing charters.
About Family Fishing
- Family Fishing is a marketplace that connects guests with charter operators. Bookings are agreements between you and the operator; we are not the vessel owner or captain.
- Using the site means you accept these Terms and all referenced policies.
Eligibility and accounts
- You must be of legal age to book or list charters in your location.
- Keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Bookings and payments
- Prices, fees, and deposit requirements are shown before checkout. Taxes and card fees may apply.
- A booking is confirmed when the operator accepts and payment (or deposit) is captured.
- You authorize us and our payment providers to charge the amounts shown at checkout.
Guest responsibilities
- Follow local laws, captain instructions, and safety rules. Arrive on time with required documents.
- You are liable for damage you, your guests, or your belongings cause to the vessel or equipment, except normal wear.
Operator responsibilities
- Operators must provide safe, licensed vessels, accurate listings, and required permits and insurance.
- Operators are solely responsible for the charter service, safety briefings, and compliance with maritime law.
Cancellations and refunds
- See the Cancellation Policy for when refunds apply.
- Weather or safety cancellations by the captain may be rescheduled or refunded per that policy.
Prohibited use
- Do not misuse the platform, bypass fees, post false information, or engage in illegal activity.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Our total liability related to your use of the platform is limited to the fees you paid to us for the booking in question.
Content and IP
- Family Fishing content is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy or resell it without permission.
- By posting reviews or photos, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and promote that content.
Changes
- We may update these Terms. Material changes will apply to future bookings after notice is posted.
- Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
