Captain and first mate were amiable and knew where to find the fish. My husband caught a nice mutton snapper and a triggerfish while bottom fishing, however the trolling for the first three hours did not produce any bites. Weather not the greatest the day we picked, it was cloudy and rained some, but I feel that we got a fair experience for the dollars spent. We had our fish prepared for lunch at the restaurant near the dock, and that was great!

Our family (parents and a 12-year- old) enjoyed everything they did for us. Unfortunately we caught only one kind of fish – Barracuda. We caught 17 of them! We added one hour snorkeling. The captain and his mate took us to the snorkeling spot where you can see so many tropical fish. It was amazing trip.

My family with 3 young daughters (5, 7, and 10 years old) booked a 4hrs afternoon trip. My 10yo loves the thrill of fishing and asked to do this trip. We met the captain and his deck hand. They were great older guys — friendly and experienced. It took about an hour to motor out to the fishing area. Lovely, smooth ride with crystal clear water part of the way. At the area we start trolling there wasn’t another fishing boat in sight. Possibly it was because it was afternoon and few people fish? The captain and his assistant worked hard to find the fish. After 30-40 min of fishing, we hit our first barracuda! My 10yo daughter had a blast reeling it up — a 31 incher. Shortly after we hit a second barracuda, a smaller one, which I reeled up. Then we had two consecutive hits which my 10yo daughter reeled both up. Finally, we had a 5th barracuda that my 10yo also reeled up. At this point, my father was badly sea sickened. So I told the caption to call it a day and he obliged. We headed back to port and ended the day an hour early with 5 barracudas. The captain and his deck hand were extremely professional and experienced in finding amazing fishes on an afternoon that no one else were on the water fishing. We took one of the larger fishes back to the resort for dinner (wow — delicious!) while asked for pricing for taxidermy of one of other big ones. The rest we gave to the crew. Highly recommended. We will do again next time in Cancun!

With a 5 and 8 year old on the trip this was fantastic and meet all our expectations. Highly recommend fishing with family for any group, kids or no kids.

We booked an 8 hr trip with this outfitter with high hopes to get on some fish off the coast of Cancun. Unfortunately, the ocean had other plans. The Captain offered to reschedule us for another day, but the conditions were only going to get worse as the week continued. We opted to go out and fish on our day we booked. The crew attempted to get us out to the good fishing area, but the waves were just too big for the 29 ft boat we booked. We collectively decided to fish in calmer waters, which wasn’t saying much. Still pretty rough conditions. We trolled for about 5 hrs and ended up catching 2 small barracuda. The crew tried to get us on fish, unfortunately, the sea wasn’t cooperating. Tough to book a trip in advance without knowing the conditions. I feel the crew did all they could and we all decided not to push it and get into a dangerous situation. They tried and I commend them for it. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t our day. One big positive, they made some delicious ceviche with the barracuda while we were out.
